About Karen Ceesay
Instructor Karen Ceesay is an actor, writer, wife & mommy who began her acting “career” at age ten in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
As an instructor, she has coached Lucas Till (“X-Men: First Class”), Skyler Day (“Parenthood”) and Kya Haywood (“The Campaign”) amongst others for various auditions. She was a main stage member of Whole World Theatre's improv comedy troupe, then mounted her own sketch & improv show produced both locally and in Los Angeles.
Karen has worked on national advertising campaigns for companies such as SunTrust Bank and Home Depot; television projects including “Army Wives” & “Reed Between the Lines” and film projects such as “Trouble with the Curve” with Clint Eastwood & Amy Adams; “The Internship” with Vince Vaughn & Owen Wilson and recently, “Last Vegas” with Morgan Freeman.
Karen lives in Metro Atlanta with her husband, a chef and their son, a second grader and aspiring actor. (SIGH)
